MoP® FOUNDATION TRAINING

The aim of the Management of Portfolios Foundation training is to provide a sound understanding of:

  • Portfolio management principles
  • The MoP portfolio definition and delivery cycles
  • The principles, practices, roles and techniques applicable to the portfolio management cycles
  • The principles, practices and roles for implementing or re-energising portfolio management within an organization
  • Aligning portfolio management practices to existing corporate governance structures

The Management of Portfolios Foundation exam is completed online following the training by choosing from available dates and times. It is a 40 minute, 50 question multiple choice, closed book exam. Delegates must achieve a minimum mark of 50% to pass.

MoP® PRACTITIONER TRAINING

The aim of the Management of Portfolios Practitioner training is to refine each delegate’s understanding of portfolio management and its application in accordance with the MoP – Management of Portfolios guide. Further the training will explore tailoring of portfolio management practices for a given scenario and prepare delegates for the MoP Practitioner certification exam.

The Management of Portfolios Practitioner exam is completed online following the training by choosing from available dates and times. It is an open book, objective style exam based on a given scenario and lasting 180 minutes. There are 4 questions each worth 20 marks, making a total of 80 marks. The pass mark is 50%.

Passing the Foundation exam is a pre-requisite to Practitioner certification.
