Prince2 Overview - Course Aims

The Overview course will:

  • Explain the value of PRINCE2
  • Provide awareness of the method's terminology
  • Introduce participants to the processes, components and techniques used to manage projects
  • Explain how key elements of the method are used to effectively control a project
  • Explain how Project Managers control the work of teams and how teams contribute to the success of a project.

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Understand the value of PRINCE2
  • Effectively contribute to a PRINCE2 managed project
  • Understand the terminology used by the method
  • Utilise project management tools to report progress and issues
  • Use tools to control the work of teams
