What is PRINCE2?

PRINCE2 is a project management method to assist organizations to control the start, middle and end of a project. It is a process based method describing the activities and responsibilities throughout the life of a project, integrating best practice project management approaches to actively manage the project.

Why version 2?

Initially developed as PRINCE in 1989 as a project management method for the United Kingdom’s CCTA (Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency) and was then later reviewed and renamed to PRINCE2. This new version was released in 1996 by the UK government as a project management standard which could be applied and adapted for all government projects and since then has been adopted by thousands of private and public sector organisations worldwide.

Who owns prince2?

Only accredited organisations are permitted to train and consult in the use PRINCE2 and use the PRINCE2 logo. HiLogic is a licensed and accredited PRINCE2 training provider. PRINCE2® is a Registered Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce in the United Kingdom and other countries and the PRINCE2 Cityscape logo ™ is a Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce in the United Kingdom and other countries.

Can I attend the Foundation Course in one month and complete the Practitioner in the next month?

If you wish you may participate in the Foundation course in one month and complete the Practitioner in the following month and still receive our Foundation Plus Practitioner discount (completing and passing the Foundation course and exam is a pre-requisite to attending the Practitioner course).
