PRINCE2 Agile® is a management approach that combines the governance and direction of PRINCE2 with the flexibility of agile ways of working. PRINCE2 Agile aims to provide an understanding on how to adapt PRINCE2 for an agile development environment. Further, it illustrates the integration of common agile behaviours, practices and techniques within the PRINCE2 project management method.

There are two levels of PRINCE2 Agile certification. They are PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification.

• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
• PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner

By attending the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course participants will:

• Understand how to combine PRINCE2 with agile ways of working
• Understand the structure and how to approach the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam

By attending the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner course participants will:

• Improve their understanding of applying and tailoring PRINCE2 for an agile environment
• Understand the structure and how to approach the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification exam

The aim of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam is to assess an individual’s understanding of the purpose and context of combining PRINCE2 with agile delivery techniques and frameworks. Exam details:

• 1 hour
• Question style: multiple choice
• 50 questions
• 55% or more correct answers are required to achieve PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification
• Closed book exam

The aim of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam is to assess an individual’s ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to an agile context. Exam details:

• 2.5 hours
• Question style: multiple choice
• 50 questions
• 30 or more correct answers are required to achieve Agile Practitioner certification
• Open book exam: Official PRINCE2 Agile manual only

Either of the following:

• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
• PRINCE2 Foundation (or higher)
• Project Management Professional® (PMP)
• Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM)
• IPMA Levels A, B, C and D® (Certified Projects Director).

Both Foundation and Practitioner exams are completed online following the training by choosing from a number of available exam dates and times.

You can complete your Agile training and Agile certification through a public classroom course or an online e-learning program.
