PRINCE2 provides project managers and organizations with a standardised approach for the management of projects.
What is PRINCE2?
Whenever you want to deliver or change a new service, product, organizational process or system you need to know what is required, why it is necessary, by when key events need to happen, how it must occur and importantly who needs to be involved. A project management method like PRINCE2 can assist you collect this information and allow you to execute your project in a structured way.
PRINCE2 is a flexible process based model for the management of projects. It comprises of seven management processes detailing the activities and responsibilities of project team members.
It can be applied to different types of projects and projects of different sizes.
Below is an illustration of the relationships between the management processes defined by PRINCE2.
