Our PRINCE2 Foundation course is a PEOPLECERT accredited training program providing a comprehensive understanding of the PRINCE2 method and aligned to the Axelos PRINCE2 Foundation syllabus.
By attending this Foundation course participants will be able to:
Understand the 4 elements that make up the PRINCE2 project management training method: 7 Principles, 7 Themes, 7 Processes and its context in a project environment
Understand the structure and how to approach the PRINCE2 Foundation exam
Our PRINCE2 Practitioner course is a PEOPLECERT accredited training program aimed at refining Foundation understanding of PRINCE2 and preparing participants for the Practitioner certification. This program is aligned with the Axelos PRINCE2 Practitioner syllabus.
By attending the Practitioner course participants will:
Improve their understanding of PRINCE2 and its application in a project scenario environment
Understand the structure and how to approach the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam
There are two levels of PRINCE2 certification, they are:
The aim of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam is to assess an individual’s understanding of PRINCE2. Exam details:
Question style: multiple choice
33 or more correct answers are required to achieve PRINCE2 Foundation certification
Closed book exam
The aim of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is to assess an individual’s ability to apply PRINCE2 on a given scenario. Exam details:
Question style: multiple choice and matching type questions
38 or more correct answers are required to achieve PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
Open book exam: official PRINCE2 manual only
PRINCE2 Practitioner exam pre-requisites:
PRINCE2 Foundation (or higher) – for certificates dated after 1 January 2009
For classroom courses, the Foundation and Practitioner exams are completed as paper-based exams at the end of the respective classroom training course.For e-learning training, both Foundation and Practitioner delegates can choose from a number of pre-scheduled online exam times that best suit their personal schedule or attend a Melbourne or Perth public exam date to complete a paper-based exam. Please note, seats are limited at public exam dates.

Our classroom training can be completed by attending one of our public courses in Melbourne or Perth. Should you have a group of people to train, contact us for details on our in-house private courses.Foundation and Practitioner courses can be completed in 5 consecutive days or participants can choose to complete their Foundation course in one month followed by Practitioner training in the following month.
Our Melbourne and Perth 5 day PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner public courses regularly commence with the 3-day Foundation course commencing on a Tuesday and finishing on a Thursday. This means the 2-day Practitioner public courses typically commence on a Friday with the second training day on Monday following the weekend. This approach provides participants the opportunity for additional study time over the weekend should they require.
