The aim of the Foundation training is to develop a working understanding of the five elements of the PRINCE2 project management method. At the completion of the PRINCE2 Foundation course participants will understand:

• Key concepts relating to projects and project management
• The principles on which PRINCE2 is based on and how they influence the adaption and use of PRINCE2
• The importance of people and relationships in successful projects
• Aims, key concepts and techniques for each of PRINCE2’s seven practices
•    Business case – understand its importance and management throughout the life of a project
•    Organizing – design of a PRINCE2 project management team
•    Plans – become familiar with PRINCE2’s product based planning approach
•    Quality – devise an approach on how product requirements will be met
•    Risk – follow a defined approach for the management of risks
•    Issues – follow a defined approach for the management of issue types, including requests for change
•    Progress – identify suitable controls for tracking a project’s progress and to manage deviations
• Aims and key activities of PRINCE2’s seven processes and how they are carried out
• The value of tailoring and scaling the PRINCE2 project management method

Hilogic’s PRINCE2 Foundation courses apply different learning techniques to make our training interactive and enjoyable. The Foundation program also includes exercises that integrate elements of the PRINCE2 Practitioner course syllabus, to illustrate how the PRINCE2 method can be applied in certain scenario situations.
