Agile project management can be defined as an iterative and incremental approach for delivering project products in a flexible manner and achieve organizational outcomes and benefits earlier.

PRINCE2 Agile is a management approach that combines the governance and direction of PRINCE2 with the flexibility of agile ways of working. PRINCE2 Agile aims to provide an understanding on how to adapt PRINCE2 for an agile development environment. Further, it illustrates the integration of common agile concepts, frameworks and techniques within the PRINCE2 project management method.

• PRINCE2 Agile combines both Agile and PRINCE2 philosophies to provide a robust yet flexible project management method
• It can be scaled across project and operational teams to align team working practices
• Enables delivery of maximum value within fixed time and cost constraints
• Drives outcomes that align with stakeholder goals in rapidly-changing environments.

There are two levels of PRINCE2 Agile certification. They are PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification.

• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
• PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner

Our PRINCE2 Agile classroom training and self-paced eLearning is based on PRINCE2 Agile version 2.

On completing the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course participants will develop understanding of:

• The Agile mindset
• PRINCE2 project management, with focus on people and agile change
• The founding principles of PRINCE2 Agile, its processes, practices and roles
• The use of PRINCE2 Agile documents and workshops
• Scaling PRINCE2 Agile across different teams, in both a project and operational context.

On completing the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner course participants will:

• Refine their understanding of PRINCE2 Agile
• Improve their understanding of applying and tailoring PRINCE2 Agile for project and operational scenarios
• Gain confidence and knowledge on how best to approach the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification exam

The aim of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam is to assess an individual’s understanding of the purpose and context of each element that makes up the PRINCE2 Agile project management method and how PRINCE2 Agile should be used. Exam details:

• 1 hour
• Question style: multiple choice
• 40 questions
• 24 (60%) or more correct answers are required to achieve PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification
• Closed book exam

The aim of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam is to assess an individual’s ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile to projects and operational environments. Exam details:

• 2.5 hours
• Question style: multiple choice
• 50 questions
• 30 (60%) or more correct answers are required to achieve Agile Practitioner certification
• Open book exam: Official PRINCE2 Agile manual only

Either of the following:

• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (version 2)
• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (version 1)
• PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner (version 1)

After completing PRINCE2 Agile in-person training or self-paced eLearning, both Foundation and Practitioner exams are booked and completed online by choosing from a number of available exam dates and times.

You can complete your Agile training and Agile certification through a public classroom course or by completing an online eLearning program.
