PRINCE2 Agile training focuses on building understanding on how to tailor the world’s most used project management method PRINCE2 for an agile environment. Combining the flexibility of agile, with the framework of PRINCE2. More specifically, PRINCE2 Agile® builds on the PRINCE2 project management method by illustrating how to integrate agile ways of working across PRINCE2’s principles, themes and processes. The integration of PRINCE2 with agile ways of working has resulted in PRINCE2 Agile® becoming a complete agile project management method by combining the flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the governance and management control of PRINCE2®. The current PRINCE2 Agile standard is based on PRINCE2 6th edition.

FOUNDATION TRAINING

By attending this course PRINCE2 Agile Foundation training participants will gain a sound understanding of:

  • PRINCE2’s key elements and governance expectations
  • Key agile concepts and approaches including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Start-up
  • How PRINCE2 and agile ways of the working interface
  • PRINCE2 tailoring for an agile environment

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification exam is completed online within 6 months following the training by choosing from available dates and times. It is a 60 minute, closed book, multiple-choice exam. A delegate must achieve 28 (56%) or more correct responses from a total of 50 questions for Foundation certification.

PRACTITIONER TRAINING

By attending this course, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner training participants will refine their understanding on how to tailor and apply PRINCE2 for an agile context, more specifically:

  • Integrate PRINCE2 and agile approaches
  • Apply the practices of iterative and incremental product development within a PRINCE2 project
  • Manage and react to changing requirements 
within an evolutionary product development context
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst realizing benefits early and often within the project’s lifecycle.

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam is completed online within 6 months following the training by choosing from available dates and times. It is an open book (official PRINCE2 Agile guide only), objective style exam based on a given scenario and lasting 2.5 hours.

A delegate must achieve 30 or more correct responses (60% pass mark) from a total of 50 questions for Practitioner certification.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

There is no pre-requisite qualification for PRINCE2 Agile Foundation. For PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification, any of the following certifications are required as a pre-requisite qualification: PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, CAPM, IPMA Levels A, B, C and D qualification.
